The limousine pulled up to the Landmark Theatre right on time. Veronica put on a pair of sunglasses her mother brought so she could look like a movie star. Veronica's parents helped her out of the limo. The crowd cheered, then grew silent, cameras flashed; the prom queen and her date, stepped out of the limousine and walked the red carpet leading into the prom.
