It’s always nice to read about a ‘feel good’ limousine story. Thirty five lucky children and nineteen staff from Saxon Hill Special Needs School in Lichfield travelled to Twycross Zoo in style. The children were chauffeur driven in six luxurious limousines, courtesy of some generous limousine companies from the West Midlands.
Last year, Steve Mallen owner of Select Chauffeurs organised a visit to the Zoo for a small group of children from Saxon Hill School. Steve was so impressed by the reaction of the children who were unable to go on the trip but were thrilled for their classmates who were able to go, that he decided to arrange a trip and treat the whole class this year.
Mallen said he was really grateful for the support the limousine hire companies had shown by providing their limousines free of charge. He also thanked ‘Brownhills Glass’ for kindly sponsoring the entrance costs. He acknowledged that without their help he would not have been able to give so many children the treat of a trip to Twycross Zoo.
